Tools and Sites for Everyday Life Here's a site I use pretty much every single day: * Text Fixer, specifically the Line Break Removal Tool (textfixer .com/tools/remove-line-breaks .php)-When you try to copy a chunk of text from a PDF directly into a Word doc or an email (I send around a lot of article abstracts), the resulting formatting can be hideous.[...]you can take advantage of the controlled vocabulary-MeSH, or Medical Subject Headings-and use the PubMed advanced search interface (ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/ pubmed/advanced), which allows you to search by MeSH terms. Many of us love the Federation of American Scientists' Project on Government Secrecy collection of Congressional Research Service (CRS) reports (fas.org/sgp/crs/ index.html).Other CRS archives worth checking are Archive-It (archiveit. org/collections/1078), the University of North Texas Digital Library (digital.library.unt.edu/ explore/collections/CRSR/browse), the Homeland Security Digital Library (bit.ly/2mQo10O), and CRSReports.com (crsreports .com).There are other streaming search engines, such as the following (try several to see which one you prefer): * Can I Stream It? (canistream.it) * JustWatch (justwatch.com/us) Bonus: I just love this guide, Film & Streaming Media (guides .lib.unc.edu/streaming/home) from the University of North Carolina Libraries.
