Now, for those of you who think the term "app" applies to any and all programming, the author's sure struggles with Excel, Word, or even Windows itself have occasionally earned the term "wicked" in your minds. Google Scholar apparently doesn't do holdings as easily as the Find in a Library function in Google Books, which is based on OCLC's WorldCat content. While the charge of "wicked app" in the case of Google Scholar might only come from vendors that are selling expensive discovery services, other charges of wickedness might stem from more general, ethical principles.
