It's time to say "kudos" to Kudos. The platform officially launched in April after a successful pilot phase last fall. Now researchers can use the free Kudos toolset to increase the accessibility and discoverability of their published articles and books. Kudos then tracks the articles' abstract views, downloads, and media coverage. During the pilot, Kudos didn't have a way to distribute the information that researchers entered about their articles, such as the lay summaries, outside of the Kudos platform. Kudos' founders wanted the platform's name to reflect the praise they feel researchers deserve for their work.
