Google maintains a dominant web search market share, hovering around 67%. Bing is in second place at around 18%, Yahoo is third at about 11%, and Ask.com and AOL share the remaining pittance. But if you consider not just Google, but Google-type search engines, there is almost nothing else. After dozens of side-by-side search comparisons, the author concludes that TopSite.com is certainly not a Google killer, and, except for the most relentless searcher, it is not an alternative of modest utility. SimilarGroup's flagship product is SimilarWeb (similarweb.com), which analyzes and ranks web traffic. Alexa's and SimilarWeb's datasets on an individual Web site have several elements in common. Both sites provide a substantial amount of free information and have fee-based tiers with more in-depth analytics.
