Abstract (Document Summary)

The author talks about humorous Web sites related to baseball. The first is a Web site called Baseball Card Vandals that features "Original, Unnecessary Works of ART." In other words, vandalized baseball cards. It reminded the author of making parody cards in his childhood, including one with nudity. There is no nudity to speak of at baseballcardvandals.com, but there is hilarity of the 10-year-old variety, thanks to clever use of a sharpie and the occasional pun. The second is a collection of sometimes irreverent blogs known as The Hardball Times. The Hardball Times promises its writers will not write about topics because they are important. They will write about topics because they are interesting.
