When Michele Sordi looks back at her start at SAGE Publications in 2008, she is quick to acknowledge that the changes at SAGE actually mirror the changes in both the publishing industry and the seismic shifts that they're seeing in the academic world. Today, the VP of editorial at SAGE marvels at the rate of disruption. From Sordi's vantage point where she sets, establishes, and builds the content strategy in the US, one of the biggest changes she sees is in how the academic market is served, where blended learning is now part of the growing educational space. Sordi holds claim to overseeing and directing the SAGE content products in the US and works with Karen Phillips, her counterpart in the UK.
