Tracking U.S. House Legislative Data and Transparency
Civility, bipartisanship, and open citizen engagement each made an appearance on Capitol Hill on May 22, 2013, at the second annual Legislative Data and Transparency Conference. The conference, sponsored by the Committee on House Administration, was actually open to the public. The committee has been sponsoring meetings on legislative data access throughout the 113th Congress. This one began with updates on House .gov legislative activity content, congressional data for bulk download, the Library of Congress' Congress.gov (which is the beta replacement for thomas.loc.gov), and the Government Printing Office's FDsys.
