[Joan Frye Williams] and [George Needham] started by talking about holding meetings with community members, recommending the events not be open forums but rather small groups of invited guests, especially from the private sector. They also cautioned listeners about phrasing questions properly. "What do you want from the library?" should be replaced with "What do you want to know more about?" to position libraries as part of the solution to people's everyday needs.
