In a move criticized by some teachers, the Guam Education Board has changed high school schedules so students will take eight classes instead of six next year, and teachers will teach one more class. Most teachers have about 130 students now, but that number will jump next year, making it even more difficult for teachers to maintain communication with parents, said Christie Blas, an English teacher at George Washington High School.
