Apart from his years in patrol and as a detective, Antonich was instrumental in developing the Child Evaluation Center for physically and sexually abused children, and the Explorers program, teaching kids interested in law enforcement. Antonich said he specialized in property crime, and he started building rapport with pawn shops.
