Top prize in the landscape category went to Matthew Stewart of Great Falls for his dramatic shot of lighting crashing down just north of the city during a mid-summer storm. With its soft scene and contrasting flash of lightning catching the judges' eyes, Stewart's photograph rose to the top of the contest's most popular category, which had about 100 entrants.
