On the plus side, though, Rice said there was a 66 percent increase in year-over-year job orders from local employers through Employ Florida Marketplace, an online employment system managed by Workforce Florida Inc. "Combined with consistent monthly gains in the number of job orders and new employers who are using the Brevard Workforce system, there is reason to believe that many industries in Brevard are beginning to grow again," Rice said.
