Abstract (Document Summary)
Ohio's charter schools, including the 31 in Southwest Ohio, kept up with their public school counterparts in making overall gains on the 2011 Ohio Report Card. * 2011 report cards for local schools But, as was the case last year, they still lag behind those traditional schools in overall academic scores. About 4 percent of public school children in Greater Cincinnati attend charter schools rather than traditional public schools.
