Surviving are two sons, Max and Michael, both of Fort Wright; one brother, Bill Kennedy of Kill Devil Hills, N.C.; and two sisters, Kay Rose Kennedy of North Carolina and Pam George of Virginia Beach, N.C. Service will be at 1 p.m. today at Allison & Rose Funeral Home in Covington. Mr. Gumble was a member of Sunny Acres United Methodist Church in Taylor Mill, a lifetime Disabled American Veterans member and a member of the Golden Rule Masonic Lodge, F & A.M. He was a World War II Army veteran.
