Rudd further explained that state GOP bylaws require that Republican candidates vote in at least two of past four Republican primaries. Rudd, who's also a member of the Tennessee Republican Party State Executive Committee, said he's asked the state GOP staff to look into the issue to determine if Tennessee GOP Chairman Chris Devaney should take action to remove Brooks from the Aug. 2 general election should Brooks win the primary.
