Granite City Steel Adds To Operating Rate Of New Continuous Mills
Capacity Will Be Increased Further As More Auxiliary Equipment Is Furnished

Granite City Steel Co. has been increasing the operating rate of its new continuous mills this year and continues to add new finishing facilities. At present the company is handling all the business the new $5,500,000 mill can turn out, but as auxiliary equipment is added, capacity will be increased further. Most of these new facilities, including auxiliary equipment for cold reduction of sheets, should be completed early next year.
