An Exmore man was found guilty of malicious wounding after intercepting an amorous message from a man to the woman with whom he was living, and beating him in the head with bricks when he arrived for the dalliance. Defense attorney Paul Watson asked that the charge be reduced to unlawful wounding, saying that emotions were running high that day and that there was a language barrier when Victor was first questioned by police.\n
