Abstract (Document Summary)
Last week, Postmaster General Patrick Donahoe spoke before the House subcommittee that oversees the USPS, indicating that he might spare additional processing plants from closure --of which Easton might be one -- and also seeing a possibility that some rural post offices might be spared, but requesting in return that the USPS be allowed to raise the price of a first-class stamp to 50 cents.
