Surviving Mrs. Harris are: her five sons, Aaron Harris (Rosa) of Washington, Ivory Harris (Pamela) and Gilbert Harris (Mauriece), both of Lake Charles, Joubert Harris (Linda) of Zachary and Mayfield Harris (Jacqueline) of Houston, TX; five daughters, Louella Vital, Shirley Baynes (Samuel) and Daisy Barber (Craig), all of Lake Charles, Laura Peete (Johnny) of West Covina, CA and Darnell Wells-Leday (Austin) of Opelousas; two brothers, Merrick Davis of Houston, TX and Oliver Lee Davis of Opelousas; four sisters, Elsie King and Peggy Louise Dixon, both of Beaumont, TX, Annie Mae Motte (Isaiah) and Mary Evelyn O'Neal, both of Houston, TX; her sisters-in-law, Dora Nisby and Philamon Davis, both of Beaumont, TX; thirty-eight grandchildren; fifty-six great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
