Abstract (Document Summary)
Former Republican Parsippany Mayor Frank Priore, who was indicted in 1994 on federal corruption charges, said such a meeting would be worthwhile if it could lead to the development of clearer ethics guidelines for politicians. Republican state Senate co-President John O. Bennett III is opposed to an open-ended session but would agree to bring GOP senators back only if Democratic lawmakers in the Assembly pass or amend a Senate bill that was passed in March.
