High Point, the reigning state Group III champion, has been disqualified from this week's sectional team tournament because it violated the NJSIAA's "70 percent rule," where each team must wrestle at least 70 percent of its matches against New Jersey competition in order to be able to participate. The 23-4 Wildcats were the top seed in Section 1, Group III but wrestled just 65 percent of its matches against New Jersey schools as of Jan. 31, the cutoff for the state team tournament.
