Abstract (Document Summary)

Two of the charges against [Thomas W. Ingram] stem from his allegedly writing a false ticket for George E. Bushell of [MATHEWS].

A year ago, Bushell was heading home on Route 14 near Foster when Ingram pulled him over for speeding. Bushell said in an interview Tuesday that he showed the trooper the paperwork he asked for - his driver's license and his vehicle registration card. Bushell accepted the speeding ticket and later went to the district court office in Saluda and paid a fine so he wouldn't need to appear in court.

Bushell said he was surprised to learn from the investigator that Ingram had issued the second ticket. The investigator said Ingram later had that citation dismissed in court, Bushell said.
