Goalie Alain Raymond, the Hampton Roads Admirals' last line of defense on a team not known for its defense, was named the starting goalie on the East Coast Hockey League's all-star team announced Thursday. Raymond, who was elevated to the Washington Capital's top farm team in Baltimore for one month, posted a 20-13-2 record and a 3.60 goals-against average. Joining Raymond on the first team were forwards Trent Kaese and Len Soccio of regular-season champion Winston-Salem and Bill McDougall of Erie, and defensemen Dave Doucette of Winston-Salem, Andre Brassard of Nashville, and Bill Whitfield of Virginia. Wingers Trevor Jobe (49 goals) and Brian Martin (83 points) of Hampton Roads were named to the second team.
