The Young Guns defeated the Windsor Spikers 15-10, 15-8 in the semifinals after the Spikers had beaten the Smithfield Seahawks 15- 3, 15-5 in the first round the day before.
The Windsor Spikers had little trouble beating the Smithfield Seahawks in the first round. Joe Jones scored the first 9 points for the Spikers in the first game while George Scott and Alfred Davis had seven apiece in the second game.
* The Suffolk Horse Show Association kicked off its initial season with an event at Shirbui Ni Farms in Whaleyville recently and Royal Meadows Stables of Suffolk came away with two titles.
