Frambes was go-to guy for S.J. sports history
[...] he was so much more: a star pitcher for Collingswood High School, a state champion boys basketball coach at Riverside, a veteran sportswriter for the Courier-Post and the Collingswood Retrospect, and one of the area's top sports historians. Frambes attended his first high school football game in 1933, joining his father and boyhood friend Bill Clevenger at the Camden-Collingswood game.
