Boston, Sept. 1.--(AP.)--Former Lieutenant Governor Edward P. Barry, 71, died suddenly at his Jamaica Plain home today after a heart attack. Mr. Barry served as lieutenant governor when the present United States Senator David I. Walsh was governor in 1914.
