Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened, That whenever any gaol in this State, shall have been tilted and provided with suitable and adequate accommodations appurtenant therein, to be used as a county work house or house of correction, the judge of the county court and the county commissioners for the county in which such gaol shall be situated shall certify the same under their hands, or the hands of a majority of them, and shall cause such certificate to be recorded in the records of such...
