[Frank Luntz]'s father, Dr. Lester Luntz, was a Hartford dentist with a national reputation as one of the nation's first forensic dentists -- those guys who dig around in the mouths of the unidentified, looking for clues. Lester, who died in 1996, and his wife, [Phyllys Luntz], wrote the first American textbook on forensic dentistry. Frank's grandfather, Dr. Benjamin Luntz, also was a Hartford dentist, for 58 years. More important than where Frank's interest in politics came from, of course, is what he knows about where [AL GORE] came from. According to Luntz, Gore was born exactly nine months to the day after space aliens made their secret, now-famous landing in Roswell, N.M., 53 years ago. And thus, a rumor, if not a president, was born. So, last weekend, I asked Luntz about Gore. Luntz said the nation was awash in Gore-as-alien speculation.
