MORNING MADNESS AT MAX'S
[STATEWIDE Edition]
Hartford Courant
-
Hartford, Conn.
Abstract (Document Summary)
[Huey Lewis] is another longtime friend of [Chris Berman], meeting him first at ESPN's 10th anniversary party, where Huey Lewis and the News performed. It has become a tradition for Berman to join Lewis on stage to sing "Walking on a Thin Line" with him. When Lewis plays at the careerbuilder.com Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford Aug. 15, Berman will likely do it again. Lewis had a funny story about his visit to Hartford. On Wednesday night, Berman took Lewis and [Jim Kelly] out to dinner at Morton's Steak House, and the Dave Matthews band, playing Hartford Thursday and Friday nights, was dining in another room. When Lewis left Morton's, he was handed a note from the band challenging him to a round of golf, $100 a hole.
