Newspaper articles from the time said it will have "porches large enough for dances and dinners, smoking room with a big fire place, special rooms for the ladies where receptions and teas may be held, etc." With three dining areas, including a snack bar easily accessible from the golf course, a meeting room and a fully equipped kitchen, it's been the site of numerous community activities such as the monthly Chamber of Commerce Economic Breakfast and weekly Kiwanis meetings.
