Homeless, hungry and hurting get help from Salvation Army
Citizens' Voice
-
Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
President Dwight D. Eisenhower first declared National Salvation Army Week in 1954 as a time to honor the organization's good work and encourage Americans to follow the army's example of serving a cause greater then themselves. The Salvation Army Wilkes-Barre Corps is extremely grateful to all those who stand with us to bring much needed hope and comfort to suffering neighbors. The Salvation Army is always on the frontlines of human needs and as long as there are people in crisis, we will never relax our work. Reproduced with permission of the copyright owner.
