3. Though the Fold may be a relatively new name in alternative music, the group's founder and frontman Daniel Castady is linked to the band Showoff. That group was signed to Warner Brothers and known for the short-lived hit single "Falling Star"--but after facing mounds of major-label red tape, members called it a day. Castady's comeback with the Fold comes to Bloomingdale for a live performance and autograph signing to celebrate the new CD "And This Too Shall Pass" (Tooth & Nail).
