"A lot of the tunes we play want to be rock songs," says guitarist Justin Hugeback, whose love of video games triggered the Power-Ups' one-night-only performance. The idea was to have fun for one night, then the band members would go back to their original music projects, which included Scattershot and the Industry. The crowd's enthusiasm persuaded the Power-Ups to consider booking more shows.
