Abstract (Document Summary)

This week's charts again belong to Whitney Houston, whose "Greatest Love of All" became just the third single this year to stay at No. 1 for at least three weeks.

The other two members of this elite club are Falco's "Rock Me Amadeus," which reigned for three weeks in March and April, and "That's What Friends Are For" by Dionne & Friends, which ruled for four weeks in January and February, until it was replaced by Houston's "How Will I Know."

The Dionne of Dionne & Friends is, of course, Dionne Warwick, who just happens to be Houston's cousin. So that means that a member of the Houston- Warwick family has held the No. 1 spot on the singles' chart for a total of 9 of the last 20 weeks!
