So, here we are, at the end of the week. If you have digested the many words I have written-think how I feel, I actually had to watch all the hours of TV to write those many words-then you have a pretty good idea of the current television landscape and how I feel about it.

Tony (Tony Danza) and Angela (Judith Light) will probably tie the knot on "Boss"; ditto Mike Seaver (Kirk Cameron) and Kate (real-life wife Chelsea Noble) on "Pains."

The premiere episode of "The Torkelsons" is purposefully offbeat, giving us a blue-collar Oklahoma family overseen by an eccentric single mom named Millicent (Connie Ray) but focused on the insightful, worldly observations of 14-year-old daughter Dorothy Jane (Olivia Burnette).
