Let's suppose that an Allen Force descended to Earth and jammed everybody's radar equipment, radios, and televisions. Commercial airlines would shut down, of course, along with their subsidiary industries. Long-range communications would halt, and the major powers, deprived of their spy equipment and warning systems, would go on full military alert.
