6 YEARS LATER, SHERIFF SCORES A HIT
[NORTH SPORTS FINAL , CN Edition]
Chicago Tribune (pre-1997 Fulltext)
-
Chicago, Ill.
Here are predictions for next week's singles' chart: 1. "Straight Up," 2. "When I'm With You," 3. "Wild Thing," 4. "Born to Be My Baby," 5. "When the Children Cry," 6. "I Wanna Have Some Fun," 7. "The Lover in Me," 8. "Armageddon It," 9. "The Way You Love Me," 10. "All This Time." This week's pick hit is "You Got It," the first single from the late Roy Orbison's new "Mystery Girl" album and sure to be an instant hit, even though the song itself is only mediocre. The saving grace is Orbison's legendary voice, which somehow soars above the cluttered, ELO-style arrangement by producer Jeff Lynne. Reproduced with permission of the copyright owner.
