Chicago, Ill.
The elder [Jesse Jackson Jr.], in an interview, said he expects great courage from [Barack Obama], whom Jackson supported in the primary--support that was key to Obama gaining credibility among black voters in Chicago. As an example of the political courage he expects, the elder Jackson noted that no U.S. senator was willing to ask for a hearing about the conduct of the election in Florida in 2000.
