Chicago, Ill.
Under [Paul J. Hayes]' guidance, students are working with local conservation groups to restore two wetland areas, a pond and a portion of the north branch of the Chicago River that runs along the eastern edge of the Glenview campus. The project will restore an important wetland habitat for native wildlife and create a natural laboratory for environmental science, biology and chemistry students, Hayes said.
