Chicago Tribune (pre-1997 Fulltext)
-
Chicago, Ill.
Federal authorities Tuesday were searching for Chicago lawyer Marvin Glass, one of 13 people indicted by a federal grand jury in a drug-smuggling case said to involve more than 50 people and $100 million in marijuana and cocaine. Assistant U.S. Atty. Bill Blagg, of San Antonio, said that at least 100,000 pounds of marijuana and 50 kilograms (about 110 pounds) of cocaine have been smuggled into the U.S. by the people indicted since June, 1982. He said most of the drugs were earmarked for Chicago. Reproduced with permission of the copyright owner. Further reproduction or distribution is prohibited without permission.
