Last week, George Michael scored an incredible chart coup by having records at No. 1 on five different charts, including top pop single ("One More Try") and album ("Faith").

This week, he repeated that feat, with "Faith" holding on for a 10th week at No. 1 on the LP list and for a 3d week as champ on the black albums chart.

The only trouble spot could be the LP list, which finally showed a shakeup at the top after a months-long logjam among the leaders. Breaking into the Top 5 in impressive fashion were two heavy-metal LPs that could challenge for No. 1 soon: Poison's "Open Up and Say Ahh," which rocketed 13 to No. 3 in just its third chart week; and the Scorpions' "Savage Amusement," which jumped from No. 7 to No. 5. Also making a big move was Prince's "Lovesexy," which zipped from No. 41 to No. 16 despite sales restrictions in some cities because of the album's controversial nude cover shot of the Purple One.
