For the past few months, the LP list has been dominated by just two albums-the "Dirty Dancing" soundtrack and George Michael's "Faith"-with no newer albums able to make a serious bid for the top.

But suddenly in the No. 9 spot is a new record that could change all that: Robert Plant's "Now and Zen," which in just its fourth chart week was able to crack the Top 10 and put some real heat on the leaders. It did even better on the pop compact disc list, where it zipped all the way to No. 1 and dropped last week's champ, "Dirty Dancing," to No. 4.

That album-believe it or not-is "More Dirty Dancing," which features the music from the hit movie that wasn't included on the original "Dirty Dancing" soundtrack. This week, "More Dirty Dancing" moved from No. 30 to No. 11 and has a real shot at the Top 10 next week.
