3d straight No. 1 and another double for the amazing duo Milli Vanilli
[NORTH SPORTS FINAL, CN Edition]

Chicago, Ill.
They did even better in September, when they scored an impressive chart double by having the nation's No. 1 single ("Girl I'm Gonna Miss You") and No. 1 album ("Girl You Know It's True") in the same week. And now, they've done it again. This week, Milli Vanilli scored their third straight No. 1 single with "Blame It on the Rain," which moved up from No. 2 to end the two-week run of Bad English's "When I See You Smile" (now No. 2). And, amazingly, they also racked up another chart double, because their "Girl You Know It's True" album had enough staying power to grab No. 1 honors back from Janet Jackson's "Rhythm Nation 1814."
