'SEASONS' BREAKS EXPOSE STRING
[SPORTS FINAL, CN Edition]
Chicago Tribune (pre-1997 Fulltext)

Chicago, Ill.
But this week, the group finally made it to the top-not with its trademark dance sound, but with "Seasons Change." The bittersweet ballad had enough staying power to move up from No. 2 and take the top prize from Tiffany's "Could've Been," which dropped to No. 3 after two weeks as champ. But Expose's glory will be short-lived, because there are two hot challengers already poised to take over. Jumping from No. 5 to No. 2 this week was the Pet Shop Boys-Dusty Springfield smash, "What Have I Done to Deserve This?" which has already been No. 1 on most of the European charts and now appears unstoppable in the U.S. But not far behind is George Michael's "Father Figure," which rocketed from No. 12 to No. 4 in just its sixth week on the charts.
