'FATHER FIGURE' STILL THE HEAD OF THE HOUSEHOLD
[SPORTS FINAL, CN Edition]
Chicago Tribune (pre-1997 Fulltext)

Chicago, Ill.
Talk about instant replays. This week's charts look very much like last week's-and that's very good news indeed for George Michael, who again scored a "double" by having the No. 1 single ("Father Figure") and No. 1 album ("Faith") in the same week. In fact, there was so little movement on the LP list that the top 14 positions went unchanged from last week. The only album with a chance to shake things up is "Blow Up Your Video" by AC/DC, a group that didn't even reach the top 30 with its last two albums. But heavy metal is suddenly hot again- thanks largely to the pop success of Bon Jovi-and AC/DC is the latest band to benefit. This week, "Blow Up Your Video" debuted at an astonishing No. 23.
