Chicago, Ill.
"So how 'bout if we ask our readers for their most successful diet ideas and send them on to you? If we all work on William, he's bound to lose weight, right? We could call it The Refrigerator's Last Chance Diet. In the meantime, keep up the good work, and we'll be in touch. Sincerely, The Food Guide." O.K. folks, now's your chance to help out. Send your diet hints and helps to us, and we'll turn them into The Refrigerator's Last Chance Diet. Maybe if Perry sheds some pounds, he'll be able to better help the Bears make the Superbowl next year. Address your missives to The Refrigerator Diet, Food Guide, Chicago Tribune, 435 N. Michigan Ave., Chicago, Ill. 60611. Let's keep The Fridge in Chicago! -- -- -- -- Nutritionist Merilyn Cummings, R.D., figures to follow in the steps of Trivial Pursuit originators with her new game called The Diet to Lose & Win. It's a commonsense approach to losing weight that happens to be fun. Players get "magic money" to spend on food plus a wallet with a "spend" pocket and a "spent" pocket. As the money is used and food is eaten, the cards are moved to the "spent" pocket. Wild cards help you lose weight faster: They designate exercises. A cassette tape explains the rules of the game. Although it is not as glitzy as Trivial Pursuit, this diet game is a whole lot better for you. It's available in area book stores, or to order send a check for $19.95 to The Diet to Lose & Win, P.O.
