LP chart repeats erase doubts
[NORTH SPORTS FINAL, CN Edition]

Chicago, Ill.
It looks like last week's big shakeup on the album charts was no fluke, because this week the top two LPs remain the same: Bobby Brown's "Don't Be Cruel," in its second week at No. 1, and Guns N' Roses' "Appetite for Destruction," still surprisingly strong after 18 months on the charts. And now moving into the picture is "The Traveling Wilburys," which has been No. 1 for weeks on the compact disc chart but is just now making its move on the main LP list. The album, a collaboration featuring the late Roy Orbison plus George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne, zipped from No. 7 to No. 3 this week and now has a shot at future No. 1 honors.
