Talk about getting your aerobic exercise. Simply naming the various forms of aerobics classes will nearly put you out of breath: Low-impact, high-impact, power low-impact, high/low, step, low step, slow step, power step, turbo step, step interval, slide, slide-n-step, slide-n-sculpt, boxercise, jazz, cardio funk, cardio combo interval. Whew. Stick with three basic categories: dance aerobics, step aerobics, slide aerobics. Other special class variations, such as incorporating boxer-type workouts or adding "body sculpting" floor work, or even yoga, are mostly derived from dance or step routines.
