SCHNEIDER GETS NO TIME OFF FOR GOOD BEHAVIOR
[NORTH SPORTS FINAL, C Edition]
Chicago Tribune (pre-1997 Fulltext)
-
Chicago, Ill.
At least it is to NBC, where "Men Behaving Badly" is set to air at 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays this fall. Based on the British hit of the same name, "Men" stars Rob Schneider and Ron Eldard as politically incorrect roommates. "Saturday Night Live" alum Schneider (Remember "the Richmeister"?) plays a freeloading would-be photographer with all the charm of a serial killer. Eldard, paramedic Shep on "ER," is a solid citizen who's clueless about women, particularly his girlfriend ("Family Ties" grad Justine Bateman). In reality, Schneider, 31, has had the same girlfriend, off and on, for five years, he says. While it's "natural" for the males of the species "to try to get away with as much as they can," Schneider confesses that he has behaved quite badly to her in the past.
