`GROWING PAINS' PAIR A COUPLE ONCE AGAIN
[NORTH SPORTS FINAL, C Edition]
Chicago Tribune (pre-1997 Fulltext)
-
Chicago, Ill.
Actors Kirk Cameron and Chelsea Noble met when Noble joined the cast of "Growing Pains," the show that made Cameron a household name. They became friends, fiances and finally--once the show ended--husband and wife. The two co-star in the WB Network's "Kirk," which airs at 7:30 p.m. Sundays on WGN-Ch.9. Cameron plays Kirk Hartman, an aspiring illustrator whose bachelor days are interrupted when his orphaned pre-teen siblings move into his bachelor pad. Noble is Elizabeth Walters, Hartman's neighbor--and the woman of his dreams, who has spurned his advances until recently. "I also think that, because we're married, you want people to understand your characters, and not just think it's Kirk and Chelsea," adds Noble. "You want them to see you as individuals, and then, what brings them together." Reproduced with permission of the copyright owner.
